Boat Airdopes 800 Review: Great sound on a budget

Boat Airdopes 800 is compatible with the Boat Hearables app.

The Boat Airdopes 800 was launched in India on May 17 with adaptive EQ and Dolby Audio compatible audio. The earphones are equipped with 10mm titanium drivers, ENC-enabled microphone, and IPX5 rating for splash and sweat resistance. They also support the Boat Hearables app available for both Android and iOS smartphones, which allows users to customize touch controls and equalizer settings . The truly wireless (TWS) earphones are said to offer up to 40 hours of battery life. I have been using the Boat Airdopes 800 for over a week now and I want to talk about how “amazing” this budget product is and isn’t.

Boat Airdopes 800 Review: Design and Features

The in-ear truly wireless Boat Airdopes 800 comes with three silicone ear tips: small, medium, and large. I was a little disappointed that none of the sizes fit me comfortably, but the small size felt the best. Of course, best is a very generous way of saying it. The medium tips should work better in theory, but every time I grinned even a little during the opening of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the earbuds would pop out and the in-ear detection would pause the show. I know by now that the in-ear detection works well, but more on that later. I mostly stuck to the small tips because I like to keep the earbuds in my ears in my everyday life.

The Boat Airdopes 800 is IPX5 rated for splash and sweat resistance.

No matter which tip size you choose, the fit of the Boat Airdopes 800 isn’t the best. The longest I used them was during my (re)watching of Arrival (2016), about two hours to be exact – one hour and 56 minutes. More on this later, but while the sound experience was vivid , the dull ache on the outside of my ears was equally vivid.

But apart from the fit, there is a lot to like about these TWS earphones. The stems have a slightly curved, protruding design that provides a better grip when putting the earphones on and taking them off. The touch control sensor is placed on the top and the operation is generally smooth. The charging points of the earphones, located inside the stems, come into direct contact with the skin. I did not suffer from any skin irritation or rashes, but those with sensitive skin or metal allergies may face issues.

The charging case for the Boat Airdopes 800 is bulky. The case together with the earphones weighs 45g, which is not unusually heavy for TWS earphones, but the boxy design makes it look bulkier than it actually is. You can carry it in your jeans pocket if you don’t mind a noticeable protrusion. The bottom of the case has indicator lights that show the earphones’ connection status and battery/charging status. The USB Type-C charging port is located on the right edge of the case. The cover is engraved with the Boat logo and Dolby Audio branding.

In addition to the earbuds with a charging case and two extra pairs of ear tips, the Boat Airdopes 800 sales box also contains a USB Type-A to USB Type-C cable, information/instructions, and a few stickers.

Boat Airdopes 800 Review: Apps and Specifications

As mentioned above, the Boat Airdopes 800 are compatible with the Boat Hearables app . Once paired with your smartphone, the app will sync with the earbuds and display the battery levels of the left and right earbuds on the home page. Further down, there’s a list of different pre-installed equalizer settings, as well as the option to select an adaptive EQ option. This is powered by Mimi, which is also featured on the Nothing Ear (review) and Nothing Ear 2.

The Adaptive EQ is said to provide users with a personalized sound experience. To set up the Adaptive EQ on Boat Airdopes 800, you need to click on the “Set Adaptive EQ” option . This will take you through a practice round and a step-by-step test which you can easily follow by following the on-screen instructions. Once the setup is complete, you can turn on the Adaptive EQ mode to experience your own customized sound.

There are five options for preset equalization: Balanced, Pop, Rock, Jazz, and Club. You can also switch between Dolby Movie and Dolby Natural settings. In the following sections, we’ll take a closer look at the sound experience of each of these modes.

The second tab within the Boat Hearables app lets you select 1-tap and 2-tap functions separately for the left and right earbuds. These allow for four completely different actions, but I chose to use the same actions on both sides because it’s just easier. You can choose from functions like play/pause, volume control (up/down), change track (next/previous), as well as manage Beast Mode and Google Assistant.

The third tab, “System,” gives you access to the Boat Airdopes 800’s user manual and a section that helps you check for the latest version of the Boat Hearables app. This tab also lets you choose whether to turn on or off the in-ear detection feature and the multipoint connection option.

The Boat Airdopes 800 comes with a 35mAh battery in each earbud.

The Boat Airdopes 800 features 10mm titanium drivers and four AI-backed ENC-enabled microphones . Each earbud has a 35mAh battery, while the charging case has a 400mAh battery. It supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and 50ms low latency. The storage case has a USB Type-C charging port, and the earbuds are IPX5 rated for splash and sweat resistance.

Boat Airdopes 800 Review: Performance and Battery Life

The Boat Airdopes 800 pairs seamlessly with two devices (in this case, a Redmi Note 11 Pro smartphone and a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop). Bluetooth connectivity and a low latency of 50ms make these earphones a good choice for occasional gamers and those who enjoy full-time audiovisual content like me. Low latency or Beast mode can be toggled on/off by pressing and holding the touch control area on the right earbud for 3 seconds.

However, I did encounter some connectivity issues. When switching between the various preset EQ modes, the app would sometimes hang or fail to recognize the earbuds, prompting me to connect to a Bluetooth device to complete the action. Selecting the Adaptive EQ mode would sometimes cause both or just one side of the earbuds to disconnect. The easy fix for these errors was to place the earbuds back in the case for a few seconds and then reconnect.

The connection error when changing the equalization mode was quite frequent during the first few days of using the Boat Airdopes 800, but with each update of the Boat Hearables app, the frequency of this issue decreased. Apparently, this issue was caused by a bug that was fixed in an OTA update. With the current version (00.00.01.02), I am not experiencing any connection issues at all.

Boat Airdopes 800 Supports Bluetooth 5.3 Connection

The Boat Airdopes 800 sound is as advertised and expected, with strong bass but without any major drawbacks in the mids and treble, especially considering the price range. Listening to music with these earphones is comfortable, even without customizable modes. Battery life is also decent, making them good enough for everyday use.

The Adaptive EQ mode on the Boat Airdopes 800, despite draining the battery, offers a personalized sound experience that I liked in some cases, but not all. When listening to Baba O’Riley by The Who, I preferred the custom equalization offered by the Adaptive EQ mode over the regular sound, especially since you can always reconfigure the settings by running the test again.

Dolby Natural mode introduces an element of spatial audio that is best appreciated in music with stereo tracks. The fine details of the arrangement are particularly prominent in tracks like David Bowie’s Space Oddity and The Beatles’ Abbey Road Super Deluxe mix. If you’re as much of a Beatles fan as I am, you might imagine the various postures the Fab Four took in the recording room at Abbey Road Studios as the song Oh! Darling plays. This is more than you’d expect from a pair of TWS earphones priced under Rs 2,000.

As mentioned earlier, I watched Denis Villeneuve’s 2016 feature film Arrival with the Boat Airdopes 800 earphones. Apart from Bradford Young’s awe-inspiring cinematography, I would argue that Johann Johansson’s music makes this one of the best sci-fi movies of recent times. I didn’t have high expectations of the movie, as I’ve watched it on multiple occasions over the years on various mobile phones and PCs since seeing it at its second screening on the first day in theaters many years ago. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience the earphones’ Dolby Movie Audio mode delivered. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was a theater-like experience, but it was close enough for the price range that it was a great experience.

The sound experience in the preset modes is pretty much what you’d expect: the Rock and Club options have more bass emphasis than the other options, the Balanced mode offers solid equalization for sure, and the Jazz and Pop presets have a bit more emphasis on vocals and treble.

The Boat Airdopes 800 have a charging point inside the earbud stem.

Making and answering calls was satisfactory on the Boat Airdopes 800. In an indoor environment with a stable network connection, calls were clear and there were no audio complaints from the other end despite occasional environmental disturbances.

The Boat Airdopes 800 is said to deliver up to 40 hours of battery life at 60 percent volume. For testing purposes, I maintained that volume throughout. With no Adaptive EQ mode turned on and using Dolby Movie Audio mode for a few hours, I got about 36 hours of total playback time on a single charge. The earbuds lasted up to 4+ hours.

With the Adaptive EQ mode on, the Boat Airdopes 800 earbuds can provide up to three and a half hours of playback at a time. It took about 30 minutes to charge the earbuds from 0 to 100 in the case, while the charging case was fully charged in an hour and a half.

Boat Airdopes 800 Review: Verdict

As a casual user, if you are looking for something that will give you a theatre-like experience on a budget, you may want to consider the Boat Airdopes 800 TWS earphones. The Adaptive EQ provides a favorable audio experience, while the Dolby Audio support gives the overall sound performance the spice it needs to stand out among the competition.

If you’re on a budget and looking for a decent, personalized sound experience, the Boat Airdopes 800 at Rs 1,799 is a great fit. The physical fit of the earbuds isn’t the most comfortable, but it’s good enough for hours of use at a time, with 10- or 20-minute breaks in between. You should also consider whether switching between different sound and equalizer modes is seamless. If it works smoothly, you’re good to go, but if not, make sure you have a case ready so you can quickly reconnect your device.

You should also check out the OnePlus Nord Buds 2r ( review ), which is currently selling for Rs 1,899 in India, Rs 100 more, with larger 12.4mm drivers, an IP55 rating, and a lightweight case. You might also consider the CMF Buds, which are priced at a slightly higher Rs 1,999, with a comfortable fit and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) support of up to 42dB.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Review: The best of both worlds?

Lenovo’s Yoga laptop lineup has included 2-in-1 options for the past few years. Now, the company has equipped the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 variant with new Intel Core Ultra H-series processors, which also give it an OLED display and improved battery life. The new Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is also being called an AI laptop, as it comes with a dedicated Copilot key.

After using the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 for over a week, here’s what I think about this convertible laptop: I’m not a fan of convertibles, be it laptops or cars, but for those who want the best of both worlds – a laptop and a tablet – the Yoga 7i might be an option.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Price in India

Starting with the price, the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is neither too expensive nor too cheap. Prices start at Rs 1,01,990 for the model with an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H CPU, a 14-inch OLED display with WUXGA resolution, and 16GB RAM . This is the model that was sent to us for review.

The laptop has rounded corners, making it comfortable to hold.

A model with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, 14-inch OLED WUXGA display, and 16GB RAM is also available for Rs 1,19,990 . Finally, the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H option with 2.8K OLED display and 32GB RAM is available for Rs 1,29,990 . All models come with integrated Intel Arc Graphics. The laptop comes in two colour options – Tidal Teal and Storm Grey. The Yoga 7i 2-in-1 box also comes with a Lenovo digital pen and a 65W charger. We received the Tidal Teal model.

Let’s talk about the design. The Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 features an all-aluminum design with curved edges and rounded corners. There are no sharp edges anywhere on the laptop. The design language is also very minimalistic, with a small Lenovo logo and Yoga branding on the lid. Since this is a 2-in-1 laptop, we need to talk about the 360-degree hinge. Lenovo says that they have reduced the size of the hinge, which makes it easier to open the lid with one hand. We found this to be true, but that’s also thanks to the inverted notch on the top for the webcam, IR sensor, and microphone. The hinge is very durable and I don’t think it will be an issue in the long run. When you use the laptop in normal mode, the hinge lifts up slightly, which also helps with cooling.

The Yoga 7i 2-in-1 has plenty of connectivity options, but the power button is oddly placed.

Moving to the side, the laptop has all the ports you need. The laptop’s power button is located on the right side next to the microSD card slot and a USB Type-A (USB 3.2) port. The placement of the power button is not ideal; I accidentally pressed it while trying to lift it using the right edge, which locked the laptop. On the left edge, there is an HDMI 2.1 port, dual Thunderbolt 4 USB Type-C ports, and a combo headphone port. At the back, there is an exhaust vent.

The bottom of the laptop has two large grills for cooling and rubber feet. The panel is removable and made from 50 percent recycled aluminum. The laptop weighs 1.49 kg and is 16.64 mm thick at its thinnest point. It’s also rated to withstand 21 MIL-STD 810H durability tests, though we don’t recommend dropping the laptop to find out. We didn’t notice any bending in the lid or back cover. Everything feels well-built.

In tent mode, the speaker faces away from you.

Opening the lid reveals a keyboard and a large trackpad. The laptop has two speakers with grills on either side of the keyboard. The 14-inch OLED display has slim bezels on all sides and a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels at 60Hz with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The display is glossy but offers 400 nits of brightness and 600 nits of peak HDR brightness. It’s fine indoors but not suitable for outdoor use due to the glossy panel. The blacks are deep and the colors are vibrant. It has a wide viewing angle and very little color shifting. It’s a great panel for watching content, photo editing, and even drawing. Speaking of drawing, the display supports multi-touch and also comes with a Lenovo Digital Pen 2 that can be used as a stylus. The display is also Dolby Vision HDR certified and covers 100% DCI-P3 color space. There’s also a 2.8K PureSight OLED model with a 120Hz refresh rate.

I primarily used the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 in laptop mode, although touch input is excellent in tablet mode, and you can use multi-touch gestures supported by Windows 11. As a tablet, the Yoga 7i is a bit bulky for my taste and wasn’t fun to use while walking around the house. You can also use it in tent mode, but in that case, the speakers face the wrong way.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Review: Keyboard, speakers, touchpad, camera

The Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 has a great keyboard, and it’s clear that Lenovo also makes ThinkPad laptops that are known for their keyboards. Typing on the 2-in-1 was comfortable as the keyboard had ample key travel and good tactile feedback. There is also ample spacing between the keys so it doesn’t feel cramped. The laptop also has a dedicated Copilot key located in front of the left arrow key. You can toggle through the Copilot chatbot with the press of a button. The keyboard also has a backlight with two levels of brightness and an adaptive mode that can automatically dim or brighten the backlight depending on the environment.

Lenovo has equipped this laptop with two speakers. The speakers are placed on either side of the keyboard, so they face upwards. The volume isn’t great, but the quality is good. There’s no distortion, and Dolby Atmos is supported. However, there are some flaws in the placement, and the speakers move to the rear when you use the laptop in tablet or tent mode. In noisy environments, you’ll probably want to use headphones.

Beneath the keyboard is a large touchpad that supports multi-touch gestures in Windows 11. It has a nice click and smooth surface. In tablet mode, the touchpad and keyboard are also automatically disabled.

Moving on to the webcam, the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 has a Full HD camera with a privacy shutter. The video quality is good and it also supports AI features like Windows Studio Effects and Smart Gestures. The notch that houses the webcam also has an IR blaster that supports face authentication login via Windows Hello.

Now, let’s talk about the specs. This 2-in-1 laptop is well equipped and comes with either an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H or Intel Core Ultra 7 155H CPU. The chipset is paired with integrated Intel Arc Graphics. The laptop can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe storage. Both of these are soldered in, so you can’t upgrade the RAM or the storage.

In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 offers Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

This laptop runs Windows 11 Home out of the box and comes bundled with Office Home and Student 2021. It doesn’t have any special software, but you get Copilot support with a dedicated key. It also has Lenovo AI Engine+, Windows Studio Effects, Smart Noise Cancellation, and other handy features. It also comes with Lenovo Vantage software that lets you fine-tune your system to your liking. Features include Super Resolution, Dolby Atmos sound profiles, different modes tailored for different activities, three power modes, and Flip to Boot, which powers up the laptop as soon as you open the lid, just like the Apple MacBook.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Review: Performance

Performance-wise, this laptop is perfect for everyday use, content consumption, and creative endeavors. I didn’t encounter any major issues during my time with the Yoga 7i 2-in-1.

Multitasking on the laptop is also excellent, especially in tablet mode. Thermal management is also excellent, with the built-in cooling system doing a great job of minimizing heat. However, there were a few times when the laptop suddenly got hot and the fans turned on even though I had no programs running, which is probably a bug in Windows 11. Overall, the laptop performs very well.

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Review: Battery life

Battery life on the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is very good. Lenovo has included a 71Whr battery, and the laptop consistently performs well enough to get through a day’s worth of use, including browsing, working with multiple tabs in Chrome, watching YouTube videos, streaming Netflix, and light photo editing. This is true in both regular laptop mode and tablet mode, with tablet mode actually offering better battery life.

The laptop comes with a manual privacy shutter for the webcam

The laptop comes with a 65W charger in the box that supports fast charging – it takes around 1.5 hours to fully charge the laptop and just 30 minutes of charging will get the battery to around 80% .

Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Review: verdict

As I said at the beginning, I am not a big fan of 2-in-1 laptops, but if you are looking for a powerful laptop that can also be used as a tablet, the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is a good choice. Even the base model priced at Rs 1,01,990 is a good option and you get good performance and long-lasting battery from this laptop. The OLED display is great for content consumption and creative work, but you can spend a little more and get a 2.8K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and get an even better experience. The only drawback is that you cannot upgrade the speakers and storage. But overall, the Lenovo Yoga 7i 2-in-1 is an easy 2-in-1 laptop to recommend.

LinkedIn Introduces New AI-Powered Features to Help Professionals with Their Job Searches

LinkedIn is rolling out several new artificial intelligence (AI) features to assist with job searching and personalized learning on the platform. Announced on Thursday, these AI-powered features include a job search coach that can help users find suitable jobs through text prompts, a tool to review resumes and applications, and a chatbot that provides interactive assistance in writing cover letters and helps people seek expert advice. The features are currently rolling out globally for premium users of the platform.

LinkedIn Introduces New AI Features

LinkedIn announced the new features in a newsroom post, which falls under the platform’s AI-powered recruiting experience. Currently available only in English, the company said it plans to make further enhancements based on user feedback in the future.

It adds Jobseeker Coach, an integrated AI-powered chatbot that can search for jobs based on simple text prompts. For example, users can type “Find Cyber Security jobs in my network” or “Find UI/UX Designer jobs in Bangalore with a minimum salary of INR 100,000 per year” and the AI will search the database and surface helpful suggestions. Users can also use this to implement strategies to stand out in search results.

LinkedIn is also adding tools that review users’ applications and resumes to help them stand out. The AI provides constructive feedback and personalized suggestions that can be customized for specific jobs. Additionally, the tool also helps improve your cover letter by providing recommendations that you can manually review and edit.

The platform is also adding several tools for people to get expert advice and learn new skills. Expert advice is a new feature that allows LinkedIn Premium users to get personalized advice from business leaders and coaches. The company says these AI bots are trained by real experts.

Finally, the personalized coaching feature helps users as they take on new courses on the platform. Users can ask for content summaries, clarifications on specific topics, and real-time insights and examples. LinkedIn has started rolling out the features to users, but it may take a few days for these to appear for all users.

Best Camera Phones For Photography in 2024

We’ve picked the best camera phones photographers should buy, based on reviews of the top-rated Samsung, Google, Apple iPhone and more.

The title of best camera phone is fiercely contested. Major manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, and Google are constantly competing to offer better features, higher resolutions, and sharper lenses. Other manufacturers like Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo, and Honor also offer affordable options.

At AP, we take smartphone reviews as seriously as we do testing the best mirrorless cameras. After all, more images are now taken with smartphones than with anything else. We look at image quality, video quality, usability, durability, battery life, ease of use, and more. If you want to learn more about our testing criteria and what to look for in a smartphone camera, we’ve put together a guide on how to choose at the bottom of this page.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra – Samsung’s best camera phone ever?

As smartphone cameras continue to improve at an accelerated pace, the question arises as to whether they can replicate the quality of a digital camera. With smartphones offering interchangeable lenses, larger sensors, and RAW imaging capabilities, the answer is “not yet.” In some genres and situations, such as portrait photography, a camera is better than a smartphone. But for most users, the best smartphone cameras will accomplish everything you need to.

IS SITEJET THE RIGHT WEBSITE BUILDER FOR ME?

Choosing the perfect website builder is crucial for your online success. So, let’s dissect who Sitejet caters to best and who might discover it to be a less fitting solution.

Sitejet is solid for solo entrepreneurs, small business owners, and marketers looking for a user-centric website builder that combines project management and client collaboration. The “Business Center” provides an excellent dashboard, offering a swift snapshot of various website projects, client input, and revenue insights presented in user-friendly graphics. So, if you want features like to-do lists and project management tools, Sitejet is your go-to solution.

Although Sitejet is designed for ease of use, those who appreciate in-depth guidance in using the dashboard might find it a bit less hand-holding compared to a simpler website builder. While powerful, the builder can sometimes feel like navigating a maze, with a lot of options and levels to explore.

This level of complexity might be overwhelming for users who prefer a more straightforward setup. So, if you’re on the lookout for a builder who holds your hand every step of the way, you might want to consider alternative choices such as Wix or Weebly.

Though you can’t import third-party templates, we found that Sitejet’s existing templates cover a wide variety of industries, including IT and media, travel, education, culture, art, and so forth.

Customization is simple with Sitejet’s drag-and-drop editor, allowing you to start from scratch or modify existing templates. Accessible through the editor, this feature allows you to specify input and output language, provide a text description, and adjust additional settings such as word count, target group, author, and tone. With a simple click on “Generate text,” ChatGPT will work its magic, crafting content shaped by your preferences.

The Team and Agency plans go a step further, allowing full branding of the Sitejet platform, including the customer portal, with your corporate identity. Moreover, you can operate the system under your custom domain for a more polished, professional touch.

SITEJET MARKETING INTEGRATIONS

While Sitejet lacks built-in marketing tools, it compensates with seamless integrations to boost your online presence and marketing efforts. For SEO enhancement, Sitejet provides essential integrations (Webflow, AgencyAnalytics, Wistia, and more) giving you the tools to optimize your websites for search engines.

Social media plays a crucial role in modern marketing and Sitejet acknowledges this by offering integrations with various social media platforms. You can easily link your X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media accounts.

Beyond email marketing and social media, Sitejet provides a wide variety of in-app integrations designed to elevate your business’s visibility and popularity. So, while this platform may not have native marketing tools, its integrations can empower you to leverage third-party solutions to upgrade your marketing strategies.

WEBSITE SECURITY

Through our experience, we’ve found that incorporating SSL into your website with Sitejet is surprisingly straightforward. A simple click in the Domain Manager activates SSL, creating a secure HTTPS connection for your website. The SSL certificate is automatically generated for the website and extends to all connected subdomains.

Sitejet strengthens website performance and protection through the integration of a content delivery network (CDN) and distributed denial of service (DDoS) mitigation. These not only make your pages load faster but also provide a protective shield against potential cyber threats.

Sitejet takes the trouble out of website backups with an integrated snapshot feature. The system automatically saves backups of your websites, providing a safety net in case of unexpected troubles.

Backups can be a lifesaver if anything ever goes wrong with your website.

If you’re craving collaboration and additional features, the Team plan at $29 per month (on annual billing) is a step up. It’s a solid choice for web designers managing multiple projects.

Taking it to the next level, the Agency plan, priced at $69 per month (on annual billing), caters to agencies and teams. With it, you’ll get extra perks like website export, multi-user permissions, white-label tools, and API access. However, it’s a significant spike in price.

Thinking about adding additional websites? Solo users can add extra websites for $15 each month, Teams pay $8 monthly per additional website with an annual plan, and Agencies enjoy the most cost-effective solution at just $5 per month per additional website with an annual commitment.

All Sitejet plans come with an array of features, covering essentials like web hosting, SSL encryption, CDN and DDoS protection, and automated backups. Benefit from continuous CMS updates, seamless domain connection or registration, unlimited email accounts, and generous allowances for website analytics and storage per project.

To explore Sitejet’s features, you can take advantage of the 14-day free trial which gives you access to the mid-tier “Team” plan’s functionalities. When the trial runs out, you’ll be downgraded to the Solo version, which you can continue to use for free. No credit card info is required, and you won’t be charged until you decide to publish or export your website.

SITEJET HELP AND SUPPORT

Having live chat support can be really helpful when you need a little advice.

Sitejet has got your back with a blend of email and live chat support, all aimed at making your experience smooth. While their support hours are a bit mysterious, they try to respond even beyond working hours. Also, online chat availability can be a bit elusive.

If you’re planning to send them an email, anticipate a reasonable two to three-hour response time, which isn’t that bad. The support team, although occasionally fashionably late, is known for being friendly and helpful. Convenient links to their help desk are sprinkled across the dashboard, and a chat widget pops up when the live chat stars align.

For those who prefer a hands-on approach, Sitejet offers an array of resources, including user-friendly step-by-step guides and straight-to-the-point video tutorials. Don’t miss their comprehensive demo video – a crash course in mastering Sitejet. While live support may face occasional challenges due to popularity, Sitejet’s support team compensates with a Slack group for user-to-user support and the option to schedule a one-on-one demo whenever you like.

It’s worth noting that the Solo package includes regular chat and email support, while the upper-tier plans feature priority email support. Additionally, Sitejet offers so-called “success support” for their partners, covering tech, sales, and web design.

SITEJET: WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED? WHAT COULD BE BETTER?

While Sitejet offers an excellent website-building experience, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. Firstly, there aren’t built-in marketing tools, so if you’re looking for an all-in-one solution for SEO, social media, and email marketing, you‘ll need to explore additional third-party tools.

Another consideration is the complexity of the drag-and-drop builder, especially for beginners. While powerful, the learning curve might be steeper compared to more beginner-friendly alternatives.

Also, while the template library is growing, it’s not the largest out there. You’ve got some superb options, but it might not have the sheer variety you’d find with other builders.

SITEJET REVIEW: FINAL THOUGHTS

To conclude, Sitejet offers a robust website-building platform tailored for web designers, agencies, and solo entrepreneurs. While it may not be the most intuitive for beginners, its drag-and-drop editor and extensive feature set make it a powerful tool for professionals. The collaboration features, like the customer portal, enable seamless interactions with clients, enhancing the overall workflow.

Although Sitejet isn’t the most budget-friendly choice, it provides superb value for money. If you’re also willing to invest time in mastering its features, Sitejet can be a powerful ally in crafting stunning and professional websites.
